CCC Hatchet Force,
C-Company Patch
In 1970, John “Doc” Padgett designed the 1st generation Command and Control Central (CCC), C-Company Hatchet Force patch. The large red circular insignia has a open parachute canopy that is surmounted with a lightning bolt that is crossed with a double headed axe (battle Axe), at the bottom of the patch reads: C CO. and CCC with an attached top tab reads: AIRBORNE.
