Recon Team Habu Pocket Patch,
2nd Generation

In mid-1970, the second generation RT Habu pocket patch appeared. It is uncertain as to who designed or ordered the insignia. The Okinawan machine embroidered patch had a yellow bomb burst design with a black border. In the center of the insignia is a white skull with a snake coiled around the base as the head winds through the eye sockets. The patch has an attached bottom rocker that reads: RT HABU. The history of RT Habu has been documented in the book: MAC V SOG: Team History of a Clandestine Army, Volume V.
