David Peter’s 1st Model, 1-0 (One-Zero) Jacket. The garments were originally procured by the Counter Insurgency Support Office (CISO) for a light weight cross border wind breaker but proved to be too noisy while worn and were reissued as a camp souvenir jacket.
In 1969, David P. Peter served with Military Assistance Command Vietnam Studies and Observations Group (MAC V SOG), Command and Control North (CCN), Recon Company, assigned to Recon Team Diamondback.
Sergeant (E-5) Peter processed out of the Army in March 1970 after three years’ service with twelve months in Vietnam.
