George Brierley’s Counter Insurgency Support Office (CISO) manufactured tiger stripe boonie hat. One of three I purchased from the veteran.

George W. Brierley served three tours in Vietnam. His first tour was in 1966 with 5^th Special Forces Group (5^th SFG (ABN)) assigned to A-244, Phu Tuc. He returned for a second in 1967 with 5^th SFG (ABN) assigned to Project Delta (B-52), Recon Section. Brierley’s final tour was in 1970 with Military Assistance Command Vietnam Studies and Observations Group (MAC V SOG), Command and Control North (CCN), Hatchet Forces.
