Danny Krutina’s US issued 3rd model uniform top that was badged on the left sleeve with a Special Forces Shoulder Sleeve Insignia (SSI), left chest pocket has a printed Special Commando Unit (SCU) patch that is surmounted with a nylon US ARMY tape and US Basic Airborne Wings. The right chest pocket has a Taiwanese machine embroidered Command and Control Central (CCC) patch that is surmounted by the veteran’s name tape, Thai (Thailand) and then Vietnamese Airborne Wings.
In 1970, Danny L. Krutina served with Military Assistance Command Vietnam Studies and Observations Group (MAC V SOG), Command and Control Central (CCC), Recon Company, assigned to Recon Team Delaware.
This was Krutina’s second tour in South East Asia. He served his first tour in 1968 – 1969 with the 46th Special Forces Company in Thailand. Part of the veteran’s tour was on loan to the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) for Project 404 in Laos.
Sergeant (E-5) Krutina processed out of the Army in September 1971 after four years three months service with eighteen months in South East Asia.
