Captured Field Glasses

James Harrison’s Japanese manufactured field glasses that were captured from the body of a North Vietnamese Army (NVA) soldier.

In 1967, James C. Harrison served in Vietnam with 5th Special Forces Group (ABN), Project Sigma (B-56) assigned to the Communications Section and later the Hatchet Forces.

Sergeant (E-5) Harrison processed out of the Army in July 1968 after three years’ service with thirteen months in Vietnam.
