In 1968, Paul L. Morse Jr. served with Military Assistance Command Vietnam Studies and Observations Group (MAC V SOG), Command and Control Central (CCC), Recon Company, assigned to Recon Team Texas.
Sergeant (E-5) Morse processed out of the Army in 1970 after three years’ service with twelve months in Vietnam.
Forward Operational Base #2 was opened in 1966 and located in Kontum, Republic of Vietnam, in the II Corp area. In late 1968, the compound was renamed Command and Control Central (CCC). Then in 1971, the camp was redesignated Task Force 2 Advisory Element (TF2AE) and deactivated in March / April 1972.
