CCS Transitional Plaque

Allen Bodkin’s transitional Command and Control South (CCS) plaque. In 1968, CCS was formed by the former 5th Special Forces Group (ABN), Projects Sigma (B-56) and Omega (B-50). Both units were resigned to Military Assistance Command Vietnam Studies and Observations Group (MAC V SOG)

In 1968, Allen R. Bodkin served with 5th Special Forces Group (5th SFG (ABN)), Project Omega and later was reassigned to Military Assistance Command Vietnam Studies and Observations Group (MAC V SOG), Command and Control South (CCS), Recon Company, Recon Team Awl.

Sergeant First Class (E-7) Bodkin retired from the Army in 1978 after twenty years’ service with twelve months in Vietnam.
