Green Beret

Thomas Kyle’s US issued green beret that has a vinyl John F. Kennedy, Special Warfare School Training Group flash applied to the face and a Vietnamese replaced liner.

In 1967, Thomas W. Kyle served with 5th Special Forces Group (ABN) assigned to B-34, Song Be until he was Wounded In Action and medevaced to CONUS. He returned to Vietnam in February 1970 with Military Assistance Command Vietnam, Studies and Observations Group (MAC V SOG) assigned to Camp Long Thanh (B-53) as an Instructor at the Reconnaissance Team Leader Course and later transferred to the inner compound with OPS-34 (Earth Angel Program) and remained until July 1972.
