Robert D. Schrag served three tours in Vietnam. His first tour was in 1967 with 5th Special Forces Group (ABN) assigned to A-245 Dak Seang. He returned for a second tour in 1969 with Military Assistance Command Vietnam Studies and Observations Group (MAC V SOG), Command and Control North (CCN), Recon Company assigned to Recon Teams Anaconda and Sidewinder. Bob’s third tour was in 1971 with MAC V SOG, Task Force 2 Advisory Element (TF2AE / CCC), Recon Company, assigned to Recon Team Ohio.
Sergeant Major Schrag retired from the Army in 1989 after twenty-six years’ service with thirty-six months in Vietnam.
